Andy co-founded Copley in 2012 and heads Copley’s Denver office. Andy is also the Co-CIO and Co-Founder of Fox Rock Capital, a single family office and Copley’s affiliate company. Prior to Copley, Andy worked for Summit Partners, a private equity and venture capital firm, in Boston and Palo Alto.

Andy received an MBA from Harvard Business School where he graduated with Second Year Honors and has a degree in Economics, cum laude, from Dartmouth College. Andy is a member of the Board of Directors of the Denver Scholarship Foundation.

Peter co-founded Copley in 2012 and heads Copley’s Boston office. Peter is also a Co-Founder and Managing Member of Fox Rock Capital, a single family office based in Boston and Copley’s affiliate company. Prior to Copley, Peter worked at Summit Partners, a global private equity and venture capital firm. At Summit, Peter was primarily focused on making $5-$50 million growth equity investments and assisting in portfolio company development. Before Summit, Peter founded and served as the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Soldiers Legacy Fund, a charitable trust established for the children of fallen US Service members. Peter also played professional ice hockey for several teams throughout the United States.

Peter received an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst with a BA in Political Science and a BA in Journalism.

Pete joined Copley in 2019 and currently serves as its General Counsel. Prior to joining Copley, Pete practiced law at several prominent law firms in Chicago, most recently as a partner with Perkins Coie LLP. Pete has over 25 years of experience advising clients regarding complex mergers, acquisitions and capital raising transactions. In his practice Pete focused on private equity and venture capital transactions, including leveraged buyouts, early-stage investments, growth equity investments and the formation of private equity funds and other pooled investment vehicles. Pete’s experience spans numerous industries and market segments, including manufacturing, technology, health care, education, financial services, consumer retail, energy, mining, forestry, distribution, logistic services, hospitality and lodging.

Pete earned his JD, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1997, where he graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Pete participated in Law Review and Moot Court and graduated as a Harno Fellow. Pete earned his BA, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame in 1994, where he double majored in history and computer applications. Pete is a member of the Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society (history) and the Computer Applications Honor Society. Pete is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois.

Nadya joined Copley in 2019. As Copley’s Chief Financial Officer, Nadya focuses on financial operations, reporting, tax and regulatory compliance for the firm and its investment vehicles. Prior to joining Copley, Nadya held various financial and accounting roles within the alternative investment space. Nadya received an MS in Accounting/MBA from Northeastern University and has a degree in Economics and Mathematics from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Fallon joined Copley in 2023 as a Tax Manager. She is currently responsible for tax reporting and tax compliance for the firm and its investment vehicles. Prior to joining Copley, Fallon worked at Summit Partners, a global private equity and venture capital firm. Before Summit, Fallon worked at PwC in the Asset and Wealth Management Tax group spending time in both their Hartford, CT and Boston, MA offices.

Fallon grew up in Trumbull, CT and graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut School of Business. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Jan joined Copley in 2019. Prior to Copley, Jan worked at New York City and Greenwich, CT based hedge funds Verition Fund and BBT Capital / Bass Brothers for five years where he was responsible for idea generating, conducting due diligence and monitoring investments across equity and credit markets in various industries. Prior to his investment work in the public markets, Jan worked at Greenbriar Equity Group, a middle market private equity firm where he was responsible for deal sourcing, deal execution and portfolio company oversight and where he helped complete two portfolio company acquisitions in the aerospace sector. Jan worked in the Power & Utilities investment banking group at Barclays after college.

Jan graduated summa cum laude from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management and was a member of Boston College’s varsity golf team for four years and its captain for two years.

Sean joined Copley in 2019 and is currently a Principal based in Copley’s Boston office. Sean is responsible for deal sourcing, deal execution, and portfolio company management. He currently sits on the boards of LJB Inc., ATA Advisory LLC, OBR Cooling Towers and Vital Delivery Solutions and previously served on the board of Maxima Power Group.

Roberto is an Operating Partner at Copley Equity with focus on portfolio investments in the Eastern Region. He brings 20+ years of operating experience with an emphasis on sales, marketing, and operations.  

Prior to Copley, Roberto was the CEO of Martha & Marley Spoon, a tech-enabled food service business where he was responsible for driving growth, managing the business, and building the organization.   

Roberto also has significant hands-on operational advisory and implementation experience with AlixPartners where he spent ~10 years with a focus on driving value creation and operational improvements in Private Equity portfolio companies.  Before Alix, Roberto worked at McKinsey & Co. and prior to that he spent 5 years at Procter & Gamble. 

Roberto has an MBA from MIT Sloan and an undergraduate degree from University of Bologna where he graduated magna cum laude.  

Greg Sonzogni joined Copley in 2020. In his role as an Operating Partner, Greg is responsible for assisting Copley’s portfolio companies across the Western Region improve operations and achieve/exceed their growth and profitability objectives.

Prior to Copley, Greg was the Chief Operating Officer for TGG Accounting, which provides outsourced accounting, finance, and consulting services to small and mid-sized businesses. Before that, he was Sr. General Manager at The Active Network and was part of the team that executed the sale of the company to Vista Equity Partners.  Greg previously worked at Deloitte & Touche, Disney, and UBS. 

Greg received his MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and has a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Arizona.  He also earned a CPA from the state of California.

Noemie joined Copley’s Portfolio Growth team in 2023 to support portfolio investments in the Western region.

Prior to Copley, Noemie led growth and efficiency initiatives at venture-backed tech start-ups and at privately held food & hospitality companies in the US, Europe, and Latin America. Noemie started her career at the Boston Consulting Group in Dallas, Texas.

Noemie received her MBA with honors from Harvard Business School, and graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a BA in Business Administration and a BA in international relations.

Xavier is on the Portfolio Growth team at Copley, driving value creation initiatives at portfolio companies across the Eastern Region.

Prior to Copley, Xavier was with Gerson Lehrman Group where he built and managed a consulting practice, serving middle market Private Equity clients across North America and Europe. Xavier also worked at Diageo and McKinsey & Co. where he led growth strategy initiatives, as well as large-scale commercial and operational transformations.

Xavier received a PhD in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and an MS in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and graduated from Supelec (Paris, France) with a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering.

Ellie joined Copley as an Associate in 2018 and is currently a Vice President responsible for investment origination, evaluation, and execution, as well as portfolio company management. Prior to joining Copley Ellie worked as an investment banking analyst for Jefferies. Ellie grew up in Darien, Connecticut and graduated with a BA in Psychology from Dartmouth College where she played Varsity Lacrosse.

Dan joined Copley in 2025. He is responsible for deal origination, transaction execution, and portfolio company management in Copley’s Western region. Prior to Copley, Dan worked in a deal sourcing and structuring role for The Broe Group, a $6 billion+ Denver-based private investment platform focused on transportation, energy, and industrial assets.  Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Tulane University and is originally from Chicago, Ill.

Sam joined Copley in 2022 and is responsible for deal sourcing, deal execution, and portfolio company management. Prior to joining Copley, Sam worked at ORIX Capital Partners, a New York based middle market private equity firm where he was responsible for deal sourcing, deal execution and portfolio company oversight and where he helped complete multiple acquisitions across various industrial, environmental and infrastructure services verticals. He began his career as an investment banking analyst in the Global Industrials Group at Jefferies in New York. Sam received his bachelor’s in Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Jacob joined Copley in 2020 and is currently a Senior Associate responsible for deal sourcing, deal execution, and portfolio company management. Jacob grew up in Shelburne, VT and graduated highest distinction with an MS in Finance and summa cum laude with a BS in Finance from Bentley University.

Lalaina joined Copley as an Associate in 2024 and is currently responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities. Prior to joining Copley Lalaina worked as a Business Strategist for Boston Consulting Group BrightHouse. Lalaina grew up in Islamabad, Pakistan and graduated with a BBA in Management Information Systems and Business Management from Villanova University.

Ruby joined Copley as an Associate in 2024 and is currently responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities. Ruby grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated with a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

Philip joined Copley as an Associate in 2024 and is responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities. Philip grew up in Dedham, Massachusetts and graduated with a BA in Economics from Harvard College where he competed for the varsity wrestling team.

Frank joined Copley as an Associate in 2023 and is responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities. Frank grew up in Medfield, Massachusetts and graduated with a BA in History from Middlebury College where he played varsity football, hockey, and lacrosse.

John joined Copley in 2024 and is currently an Associate responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities. John grew up in Newport Beach, CA and graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences in Management with a concentration in finance from Boston College.

Jake joined Copley as an Associate in 2023 and is currently responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities. Jake grew up in Littleton, Colorado and graduated with a BS in Finance and Accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Preston joined Copley in 2025 as an Associate and is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities. Originally from San Francisco, California, Preston graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Economics, where he competed as Captain of the varsity Alpine Ski Team.

Bret Pastor joined Copley as an Associate in 2023 and is currently responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities. Bret grew up in Darien, Connecticut and graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Economics from Middlebury College where he played varsity ice hockey.

Jake joined Copley in 2024 and is currently an Associate responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities. Jake grew up in Tuscola, IL and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management from DePauw University.

Rachel joined Copley’s Portfolio Growth team in 2023 to provide accounting system consultancy for portfolio companies.

Prior to Copley, Rachel accumulated diverse experience across various industries. Her most recent roles were Controller at PE-backed tech startups, NetSuite Admin and Consultant. Rachel oversaw accounting functions, ensured delivery of accurate and timely financials, as well as assisted companies in streamlining processes and implementing system upgrades.

Rachel received her M.S. in Accountancy from San Diego States. She was also a Certified Management Accountant.

Elfi joined Copley in 2019. As Copley’s Director of Operations and Executive Support, Elfi focuses on administrative functions, accounting, HR and other operational needs while also providing executive support. Prior to joining Copley, Elfi owned and operated a small business in Denver. She grew up in Germany and graduated with a Hospitality Management Diploma from Immenstadt’s hospitality school.

Before Summit, Fallon worked at PwC in the Asset and Wealth Management Tax group spending time in both their Hartford, CT and Boston, MA offices.

Fallon grew up in Trumbull, CT and graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut School of Business. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Elfi joined Copley in 2019. As Copley’s Director of Operations and Executive Support, Elfi focuses on administrative functions, accounting, HR and other operational needs while also providing executive support. Prior to joining Copley, Elfi owned and operated a small business in Denver. She grew up in Germany and graduated with a Hospitality Management Diploma from Immenstadt’s hospitality school.

Pete joined Copley in 2019 and currently serves as its General Counsel. Prior to joining Copley, Pete practiced law at several prominent law firms in Chicago, most recently as a partner with Perkins Coie LLP. Pete has over 25 years of experience advising clients regarding complex mergers, acquisitions and capital raising transactions. In his practice Pete focused on private equity and venture capital transactions, including leveraged buyouts, early-stage investments, growth equity investments and the formation of private equity funds and other pooled investment vehicles. Pete’s experience spans numerous industries and market segments, including manufacturing, technology, health care, education, financial services, consumer retail, energy, mining, forestry, distribution, logistic services, hospitality and lodging.

Pete earned his JD, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1997, where he graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Pete participated in Law Review and Moot Court and graduated as a Harno Fellow. Pete earned his BA, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame in 1994, where he double majored in history and computer applications. Pete is a member of the Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society (history) and the Computer Applications Honor Society. Pete is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois.

Nadya joined Copley in 2019. As Copley’s Chief Financial Officer, Nadya focuses on financial operations, reporting, tax and regulatory compliance for the firm and its investment vehicles. Prior to joining Copley, Nadya held various financial and accounting roles within the alternative investment space. Nadya received an MS in Accounting/MBA from Northeastern University and has a degree in Economics and Mathematics from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Fallon joined Copley in 2023 as a Tax Manager. She is currently responsible for tax reporting and tax compliance for the firm and its investment vehicles. Prior to joining Copley, Fallon worked at Summit Partners, a global private equity and venture capital firm.
